Legal & Compliance

Vermont College of Fine Arts is committed to compliance with all required federal laws and statutes in order to maintain a safe, tolerant, and secure campus and atmosphere of learning.

Campus Safety

The Facilities team at VCFA provides assistance for all members of the VCFA community with regard to their own safety and security. The College's annual security and fire safety compliance document can be found on theĀ Campus Safety page.

This website and booklet contain information regarding campus security and personal safety including topics such as: crime prevention, fire safety, Campus Safety law enforcement authority, crime reporting policies, disciplinary procedures and other matters of importance related to security and safety on campus. They also contain information about crime statistics for the three previous calendar years concerning reported crimes that occurred on campus; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus.

This information is required by law and is provided by VCFA Campus Safety Department in coordination with the Montpelier Police Department.

If you would like to receive the Annual Campus Safety Report which contains this information, you may contact Matthew Coyne, Director of Facilities Operations, at the information on the right.
